What People Feel

"A very trendy local kopitiam, integrated with all famous Malaysian food and drinks. From a classic small kopitiam, the young owner had redefined and rebranded it to become 1 of the must visit hotspots in Sandakan town. I loved their Wan Dan Ho, 1 of the best in town, the Sandakan style!"

"I was quite disappointed with the Steamed Chicken. The meat lacked flavor and had an unpleasant smell, which made it difficult to enjoy. The chicken pieces were poorly presented they looked shredded and disjointed, making it unclear which part of the chicken was being served. To make things worse, the food was served on a chipped plate, which raised hygiene concerns and made the dining experience feel even more careless. In terms of pricing, the meal did not justify the cost. For the portion size and quality received, it felt overpriced. As for the environment, it was average. The dining area was relatively clean but lacked any warmth or inviting atmosphere. Overall, the experience was underwhelming. Improvements in food quality, presentation, and attention to detail are definitely needed."

"They have expanded by opening another shop lot, perhaps with more variety available. Ambience is spacious and airy. Service is fast. In terms of food, it could be made better. The fried kuey teow looked more appealing in the menu than the one we received that looks rather pale and lacking the oomph. The toasted bread, which was 2 sets, was actually just 2 slices of bread sliced to 4 very thin slices with very little filling of kaya and charged at RM 5.00. Whereas the phoenix chicken feet was OK. Overall, it is a nice place for afternoon chilling with tea/ coffee and bread. They could definitely do better with their food portion and taste."
